We are a school of traditional Irish dancing with locations in Halifax and Bedford.
Established in 2010 by Riverdance cast member Zeph Caissie, Diaga Irish Dance has blossomed into a diverse community of dancers and their families. Irish dancing builds physical awareness, self-confidence, lasting friendships and the focus of the school is on the development of each individual student. We are connected to the rich Celtic music scene in the Maritimes and our performances and recitals often feature local musicians.
Diaga is host to The Celtic Christmas Show and Crossroads Ceili annually, and Fundy Feis, an Irish dance competition in the Maritimes biennially. Our students are generously supported by the Treble Makers Parent Society who volunteer and fundraise throughout the year. Diaga is also home to the Nova Scotia Irish Dancers, a provincial select dance troupe who perform in the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo each summer.
Come join our community! All are welcome.
