From humble beginnings in 2010, Diaga Irish Dance has blossomed into a thriving and diverse community of dancers and their families. Irish dance builds physical awareness, confidence, and lasting friendships, and the focus of the school is on the development of each individual student. Our classes give students the tools they need to reach their fullest potential as Irish dancers.
In addition to performing and competing year round, we host a yearly Summer recital and "Christmas Karma" shows for the elderly, and co-host the annual "Crossroads Ceili" and biennial "Fundy Feis". Our dancers represented the school most recently in the "Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo", and were subsequently invited to Tattoos in Germany, Denmark , and The Netherlands. We are deeply connected with the rich Celtic music scene in the Maritimes, and regularly feature local musicians in our performances.
Come join our community! All are welcome.
